All information about the event

Tufting is the ideal handicraft for children in schools. They learn how to use the machine while playing and can express their creativity directly on the carpet. That is why Tuftinglove works with schools to make tufting possible in handicraft classes. We have created the information day for teachers so that they understand what is possible, how tufting can be implemented in class and what pricing is available for schools. During these two days, the doors of our tufting studio are open to teachers and you can come by, try out tufting, find out more about the various offers, or just have a casual chat with us over coffee and cake.

The information day for teachers will take place on 7 and 8 March from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in our Tuftinglove studio in Suhr and is free of charge for anyone who is interested.

Why tufting in schools?

Tufting is a creative and versatile method that opens up new design possibilities for students. Since it is easy to learn, it is wonderfully suited for handicrafts lessons.

Tufting machines are well suited for use in schools. They are easy to use and robust enough for regular use in class. With these machines, students can quickly and easily implement their own projects – be it an individual seat cushion, a small rug, a pot holder or even wall decorations.

Was Schulen bis jetzt schon umgesetzt haben

Ein Schule in Bern hat das Schulhausfestbudget genutzt um die Initialanschaffung zu machen und tuftet jetzt auch im BG Unterricht.

Mittelstufe Bern

Mit 2-3 Tuftingstationen, rotiert die Klasse während dem Semester durch verschiedene Projekte. So haben am Ende alle getuftet und die Schule musste nicht ein komplettes Klassenset anschaffen.

Mittelstufe Zürich

Wir haben 2 Stationen angeschafft. Diese werden nicht nur im Unterricht genutzt. Die Eltern der Unterstufe haben am Elternabend Sitzkissen für die Kids im Morgenkreis getuftet.

Lehrperson Aargau

Die Textildesignklasse der Schule für Gestaltung Basel hat bei uns im Atelier eine Projektwoche verbracht. Das gab allen Zeit mehrere Projekte zu realisieren und Raum einiges auszuprobieren.
